About Fr. S.J. Emmanuel

Rev Fr. S.J. Emmanuel has served the Catholic Church and the Tamil Community for the last 50 years
As a Parish Priest, As a Director the Diocesan Catechists, As a Professor of Theology, As a Dean of Theology, As a Rector of Major Seminary, As a Vicar General of Jaffna Diocese, Including being consultant Asian Bishop’s Conference and visiting Professor in Universities abroad.

He has been serving the Tamil Community as President of Global Tamil Forum. He has published several books, articles, lectures on the Tamil Struggle for Peace and Justice and on Theology.

பங்குக் குரவராக, மறையாசிரியர்களின் இயக்குனராக, இறையியல் பேராசிரியராக, இறையியல் பீடத்தின் முதல்வராக, உயர் குருமடத்தின் அதிபராக, யாழ் மறைமாவட்டத்தின் முதல்வராக 50 ஆண்டுகள் பணியாற்றியதோடு, புலம்பெயர் தமிழ் மக்களின் உலகத் தமிழர் பேரவையின் தலைவராக பணியாற்றி வருகின்றார். இறையியல் பற்றியும், ஈழத்தமிழர்களின் நீதிக்கும் விடுதலைக்குமாக போராட்டம் பற்றியும் பல புத்தகங்களையும், கட்டுரைகளையும் வெளியிட்டு உலக மன்றங்களில் பல உரைகளையும் நாட்டின் தலைவர்களிடமும் பல பேச்சு வார்த்தைகளிலும் ஈடுபட்டு அளப்பரிய பணிகள் ஆற்றியுள்ளார்.
